Afritech Greencrops Group (ATGC Group) is a high-tech agricultural enterprise focusing on the crop planting, processing technology, and international trade of cassava, sorghum, soybeans, and other crops, focusing on green agricultural technology and sustainable development in Africa.

Afritech Greencrops Group (ATGC) is seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to join our team also freshers are welcomed. We are hiring for the following position:  Finance Officer 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the accounting process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and payroll processing
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Assist with audits and tax preparation
  • Collaborate with other departments to support financial goals and objectives
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices
  • Utilize accounting software and tools effectively to streamline processes and improve accuracy

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Proven experience in accounting roles, with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
  • Commitment to integrity and confidentiality in handling financial information
